Hi Everyone!

Hi! My name is Nia, I’m a 200hr Ashtanga-Vinyasa yoga teacher and Personal Trainer. I also have a Master of Science degree in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing. I apply my knowledge from a spiritual and psychological perspective to help improve mental and physical wellbeing through my yoga classes and wellbeing sessions. 

All About Me

I have always wanted to try yoga but since there were no teachers around me, I never did. Until lockdown hit in 2020, I had to move back home and out from my university accommodation, I was bored and had a lot of time on my hands, that I decided to start this beautiful journey through yoga youtube videos. I fell in love with the practice straight away, and as soon as restrictions eased and I could move back to Liverpool, I attended as many classes as I could, as well as practicing in my own time, I was hooked! Which led to me deciding to achieve my yoga teacher training certification, I wanted to (still do) show others how much yoga can positively change your life through movement, meditation and breath-work​.

 

Being mindful in daily life means so much to me, it's something I have dedicated extensive research into since 2019. After graduating from my psychology undergraduate in 2022, I decided to study a Master of Science in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing. Doing so has helped me gain a deeper understanding of the benefits of mindfulness practices such as journaling, goal setting, visualisation, working on your character strengths, meditation and breath-work. All of which I now apply to my life and share with others in my classes. 

 

Becoming a yoga teacher and wellbeing coach has changed my life in so many ways, I’ve found my purpose and couldn’t be happier.
